In the market for 30 years, Manz has expanded into various areas of well-being and entertainment.
Pioneers in the development of the fitness area in Portugal, we quickly started to invest in other markets, namely Japanese Pop Culture and wines.
With a relaxed vision, but always focused on meeting our quality demands, we want to inspire the Portuguese to follow their passions and motivate them to achieve their goals.
It was in 1993 that Portugal started to get fitter, with the first Fitness Conventions organised by MANZ. Determined to promote a healthier way of life, we decided to give Portuguese people the opportunity to have fun while witnessing the positive impacts of exercise on their physical and mental health.
Looking for someone who could apply this same lifestyle, in 1998 we adopted the Les Mills Group Classes programmes, joining a more fun, but no less demanding, way of doing sport. Now exclusive representatives of the brand in Portugal, we reach more and more athletes and instructors who decide to leave their comfort zone and test their limits, without fear.
But just like a child who is not satisfied with little and always wants more and more, MANZ also wanted to go beyond group classes: it was necessary to offer the most diverse tools to all fitness enthusiasts, so that they could make it their profession.
Therefore, MANZ Training was born, which, in partnership with several renowned certified entities, offers numerous courses, post-graduate and intensive training courses to all those who are interested in acquiring or consolidating new knowledge in the area.
Over the years and the constant democratization of physical exercise, the Fitness Conventions have become a resounding success, which led to the creation of running competitions, bodybuilding and even the MANZ Cross Games.

Bored with organising events, MANZ needed a new challenge for our ambitious team. When we least expected it, there it was: Iberanime.
With the discovery of Japanese Pop Culture and its international following, André Manz decided to put his irreverence on the table, creating an event that brings together all spheres of this traditional and mainstream culture.
Starting with a timid community of Cosplayers, Iberanime quickly gained tangible contours, giving rise to the development of a strong community of fans that later gave birth to events with its own dimension: 4Gamers and EuroGamer.
Today it is unquestionably the biggest Japanese pop culture event held in Portugal.

Just as a good wine matures with age, so do MANZ's business areas. After consolidating the fitness and entertainment businesses, destiny wanted to cross us with a project that would bring even more prestige to our brand.
By buying a small property and winery in Cheleiros, forty minutes from Lisbon, André Manz discovered a grape variety that had been forgotten and almost extinct by the Portuguese: the Jampal.
Once again, the challenge was accepted. Producing good wine and giving new life to a village almost falling into the clutches of oblivion was our mission. And so Manzwine was born.
Highly awarded, this grape variety and our iconic Dona Fátima have been the subject of countless compliments and are already sold in over 25 countries.
